Rock Candy

Skeptical this will work, but we've made a saturated sugar syrup (4 C. sugar : 1 C. water) and suspended cotton string inside jars. We should have rock candy crystals in a week. And then cavities.

Daddy's Day

A picnic, bubbles, rocket balloons, the record store, ice cream, and Disney's "The Rescuers," all with dad.

Friendly Friday

In order to increase social skills and awareness, mom is implementing Friendly Fridays, where H will do 3 friendly tasks throughout the day.

1. Make a new friend and play at the  playground. Young Gavin's brother (not pictured) kept insisting I was a "pee pee poo poo pants," despite my efforts to dissuade him.

2. Select small gifts, assemble, and mail box to our friend, Connor, who is a new big brother.

3. Write a note to our neighbor, Wilbur, who is having eye surgery today.

Food Stamps

Apple, carrot, rosemary, celery: mostly made a mess and resulted in paint on all of us, baby included.
