Puffy Clouds

Started the day early at the bakery for cronuts and much later made "puffy clouds" from cornstarch and shaving cream. After dying it blue, we spread it around and Sulley appeared!

Friendly Friday

1. Bring a donut to Dr. Steckman, who always gives cookies after Friday's piano lesson.

2. Paint and deliver a picture to our neighbors, who are moving next week.

3. Meet and play with Penelope, a gymnastics classmate who was at Barrie Park. Both kids thought that Jack--throwing off his sun hat--was the funniest thing they'd ever witnessed.

Monster Puff Paint

We deviated from original intent to make puffy planets and made Sulley, Mike, and Randall instead. Super awesome!

Alphabet Stamp Play-Doh

We pretended to be Franklin (a turtle with bad habits that we saw in a library video) and teacher, doing spellings tests and stamping our answers: prep for school and totally fun!

Starch Slime

At first apprehensive about how gooey it was, the real joy came from using a straw to blow bubbles!

Friendly Friday

1. Have a play date with dear Nadir and pass along the bike that's has been outgrown.

2. Write a note to a baby who isn't feeling his best.

3. Presented watercolor to grandma.
